SAN MAURIZIO 47
The demolition of a farmhouse in Robecchetto con Induno, in the province of Milan, has been completed. The farmhouse was located in a semi-rural setting immersed in the agricultural landscape. The project covered an area of approximately 8,500 m² and involved four buildings with a total volume of about 10,000 m³, with the goal of transforming the site into a new logistics center.
The work was carried out using heavy machinery, including Caterpillar CAT 315 and Volvo EC380 excavators, both equipped with hydraulic clamps, enabling an effective and controlled demolition of the structures.
In the first phase, the removal of buildings without roofs containing asbestos was carried out. Subsequently, the remaining structures were safely demolished. The site remediation operations were conducted in full compliance with regulations, including material handling and disposal at authorized facilities.
Once the demolition of the above-ground buildings was completed, the rubble was sorted, loaded, and sent for disposal. The loading of trucks for transport was carried out using a Doosan DX225 excavator, optimizing operational times over the roughly two months planned for the site.
In the final phase, work was carried out on pavements and foundations, completing the demolition and handling the loading, transport, and disposal of the resulting materials, bringing the project to completion within the scheduled timeframe.
