In the heart of the Marais, one of Paris’s most charming neighborhoods, we completely renovated a second-floor apartment in a historic building, blending traditional Parisian charm with modern living needs. The project transformed an outdated space into a welcoming, functional and sophisticated home.

The renovation began with a phase of controlled demolition: some internal walls between the living room and the kitchen were removed to create a bright, open-plan space. Targeted structural reinforcements ensured the building’s solidity, while precise cuts and core drilling allowed for the integration of state-of-the-art systems.

The choice of materials was guided by a balance between aesthetics and practicality. Natural oak parquet perfectly complements the high ceilings and exposed wooden beams, enhancing the apartment’s elegance. In the kitchen, marble countertops and high-end appliances combine style and functionality, while the completely redesigned bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and a modern vanity area.

The two bedrooms, one overlooking the courtyard and the other with views of the living room, were designed to ensure comfort and tranquility. Large windows flood the apartment with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout.
