A major redevelopment project was undertaken at the historic headquarters of CRIF SPA in Bologna.

The work began with the civil strip-out of the building, from the fifth floor to the ground floor. Furniture and raised floors were removed, followed by the remediation of MMVF in the suspended ceilings and movable walls, which were then dismantled.

The system strip-out, however, was precise and particularly complex. The main challenge was to keep the power lines of the Data Processing Center (CED) active throughout the removal of the electrical and mechanical systems, both on the ceiling and the floor.

To complete the project, we performed core drilling on 150 facade panels, each weighing 4300 kg, which were then harnessed and removed using a construction crane. Additionally, two AHUs (Air Handling Units) were removed from the roof.
