SALAINO
The building subject to intervention was adjacent to two other structures. The building was precisely separated from the other buildings through controlled demolition to create a 5-meter gap that allowed for the excavators to get through. This work was carried out without causing any damage to the adjacent residential complex.
To avoid occupying public space and closing the road, the building was demolished by positioning the long-arm excavator in the inner courtyard. To protect the roadway throughout the duration of the work, a demolition curtain was used to contain the debris.
During the demolition activities, the resulting material was deposited in the inner courtyard, both to facilitate its transfer and disposal at the landfill and to load it onto vehicles without obstructing traffic circulation.
